PlayFight (editions)

PlayFight (editions) is a unique workshop using movement to explore the boundaries between play, assertion and aggression.

It draws on somatic and movement inquiry, and emerges from community-based PlayFight practices hosted across Europe.

Through individual and partner work, participants safely explore our experiences of joy, rage, anticipation, threat, confrontation, curiosity, and experiment with new grounded and embodied responses to them.

You don’t need to have done this kind of work before to take part. This isn’t a self-defence, martial arts or improvisation class, though you should be open to the possibility of physical proximity and contact.

Everyone involved is invited to move within their own limits.

Dr Marc Boaz leads the workshops. He has previously run editions of PlayFight since 2017, including open therapeutic workshops (UK), community focused in London and Berlin, and an international online version during the COVID pandemic.

Any future PlayFight (open editions) will be advertised here, and on eventbright.
